All information is centralised in one place so that users can find information quickly and efficiently. Using a browser, from any location, your team members will have password-access to a secure SharePoint. They can work together on documents, projects and other information.

In your Sharepoint you can process documents in your usual Microsoft Office applications and save them to a central location. The latest version of a document is always directly available to team members. All previous versions can be saved to keep a history. So gone are the days of searching your mailbox for the latest version of a document!
Share large files
Have you ever sent a presentation to your customer but found that it didn't arrive because the file was too large? Thanks to SharePoint all your documents are stored centrally. How does it work?
Sharepoint sites use Web parts, small web applications developed in ASP.NET. The administrator and users can easily add these Web Parts to the SharePoint site and set them to suit their needs. Lots of Web Parts come as standard, enabling you to set up a complete intranet in a few minutes. The website administrator can also change the site design with ease. You can develop new Web Parts using ASP.NET technology, but there are a great many software companies which develop Web Parts with extra features for SharePoint.
