Extension backup cycle
Hostbasket uses a ‘content based’ backup system (Symantec PureDisk) to backup its own servers and the customer’s dedicated servers.
All backupped files will be stored for minimum 4 days but the period can optionally be extended:
- A ‘5 week package’ makes a weekly backup spread over the last 5 weeks, on top of the standard 4 days cycle.
- A ‘12 month package’ makes a monthly backup spread over the last 12 months, on top of the ‘5 week package’.
- A ‘2 year package’ makes a yearly backup spread over the last 2 years, on top of the ’12 month package’.
