Secure connection via web: SSL VPN
SSL VPN (Secure Sockets Layer virtual private network) allows you to establish a secure connection to our data center over a public network (the internet). An SSL VPN connection makes it easy to use business applications hosted in a datacenter over a secure connection. You only need a browser and an internet connection.
The authentication takes place via the browser where the customer can introduce a user name and password. As soon as the user has been authenticated, the communication with Hostbasket the communication is encrypted with the SSL-protocol (or its successor TLS).
