Plesk can be used for 2 purposes: for server management or hosting automation.
Plesk for server management
As manager of your own dedicated server you need to keep up with the most recent techniques to protect against all kinds of internet threats.
Plesk control panels bring relief. They offer an easy and free management interface for automated tasks such as the creation of a website, the programming of the FTP access... They facilitate the daily management of your server without any risks.
You only need a minimal technical knowledge to configure your virtual or dedicated server.
Plesk for hosting automation
Plesk automates the management of websites and mailboxes in 2 different ways:
- via control panels for the system operator: create easily a mailbox package, configure the size of the mailboxes,...
- via control panels for the end customer: create mailboxes by yourself, configure aliases and forwards, modify passwords,...
This double approach facilitates the management task of the system operator because on the one hand the end customer can do a part of the management and on the other hand the management is automated via the control panels.
The Plesk control panels can be fitted with your own logo.
