Infrastructure

The Hostbasket Dynamic Cloud is a safe “public cloud” where the cloud infrastructure is shared by different customers. All servers work independently and are isolated from each other. The cloud infrastructure is composed of powerful hardware servers and equipped with the necessary storage capacity which is online offered to our customers. Hostbasket takes care of the management and the maintenance of the physical infrastructure.

Infrastructure

The Hostbasket Dynamic Cloud is based on the Microsoft Dynamic Data Center that uses Windows Server 2008 R2 and Microsoft System Center products. Hyper-V, integrated into Windows Server 2008 R2, is one of the most stable, secure and high-performance virtualization technologies and is rapidly gaining popularity. It allows you to completely and safely isolate your server from the other customers.

Properties

The Hostbasket Dynamic Cloud has the following properties :

  • High Availability setup including various physical servers. The number of physical servers can be easily increased.
  • Each physical server has various powerful processors and enough memory.
  • Live Migration for the migration of virtual servers without any downtime.
  • Automatic installation of virtual servers based on the available resources.
  • Proactive management of the available resources through System Center products.
  • Automation through the Hostbasket HostEngine and the Hostbasket MyAccount.
